Profile Editor

The church has the ability to determine whether or not group members can edit their profile in the InFellowship Groups application.

Profile Editor is enabled by default; however you can turn the Profile Editor on and off.

Select Weblink > InFellowship > Features to display the InFellowship options - Church Directory, Groups and Profile Editor and then do one of the following:

• Select On and the Profile Editor is available immediately. Choosing On will allow users to edit the information in their profile, which will automatically change the information in their record in InFellowship and in the Portal.

or

• Select Off and the Profile Editor is immediately disabled. Choosing this option allows users to view their profile information, but not make any changes to the data. Users will still have the ability to manage their privacy settings as well as change their email/login and password.

ALERT! Any changes made to a user's profile will immediately update their record in Fellowship One -(including Individual Photo).

After logging in to InFellowship, users can get to their profile by clicking Account or Your Profile.

When Profile Editor is enabled, users may access and update the any of the following information in their profile:

• Individual Photo
• First Name, Last Name and Nickname (goes by)
• Household position
• Date of birth
• Marital status
• Gender
• Tell us a little bit about yourself section (used by group leaders and members)
• Phone ( mobile, household or work) along with the ability to select a preferred phone number
• Emergency Contact
  • Emergency Number
  • Comments/Relation

  Email

  • Login (inFellowship ID)
  • Alternate
  • Home (this is shared among the entire household)

• Household address
• Websites
• Social networks
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Linked in

Head/Spouse may edit their own profile along with any child's profile). Children (13 and older), visitors and extended family members may edit their own profiles only.

Note: If a user updates the household address, the previous address is saved as a Previous address type. The new/updated address is saved as the Primary address type.
